RAUVISIO crystal™ combines the high-quality appearance of real glass with the advantages of a polymer material. A sleek shine of glass in a lighter-weight, durable polymer, RAUVISIO crystal™ is a highly versatile and unique product.

Guide to Maintaining RAUVISIO crystal™ Panels:

Clean with a damp microfiber cloth and with a mild soap if needed. RAUVISIO crystal™ has a very hard, scratch-resistant finish. Avoid abrasive cleaners, solvent-based cleaners and harsh chemicals. Do not use paper towels, brushes or scouring pads.

A protective peel coat is applied to the top of the surface, as well as to the edge - banded sides. Do not expose peel coat to direct sunlight before removal. Remove promptly after installing cabinet but prior to mounting decorative hardware. To remove peel coat, use rubber fingertips or our peel coat removal tool.

RAUVISIO crystal™ gives all the beauty of back-painted glass with none of the drawbacks. Scratch and impact resistant, RAUVISIO crystal™ also produces 20% less waste than real glass. This surface has the capability to be dry-erased and is available magnetized.

The polymer glass laminates are pressed onto super refined MDF using specially formulated PUR glue in a clean room environment to ensure optical grade reflective quality and perfectly balanced panels.The lightweight, yet durable polymer surface creates a deep and genuine aesthetic. These UV-resistant panels and doors feature intense reflectivity and reduced sensitivity to impact and scratching. Customize with dry-erase or chalk notes and reminders to make your finished design stunning yet enjoyable.

RAUVISIO crystal™ is flat-laminated to a high-quality, super-refined, engineered MDF core that is CARB2, TSCA Title VI certified which provides a stable, consistent substrate and virtually eliminates warping.

RAUVISIO crystal™ is a co-extruded polymer surface consisting of multiple layers:

• 1.6 mm: Transparent layer Acrylic (PMMA)
• 0.4 mm: Colouring layer Acrylic / styrene copolymer

Surface direction:

• Vertical installation. Horizontal for tables and vanities but not for countertops due to lack of heat resistance.

Fire behavior:

• Due to acrylic and styrene copolymer composition, RAUVISIO crystal™ and RAUVISIO crystal™ slim behaves favourably in the case of fire and is classified as normally inflammable under DIN 4102-B2. In case of fire, no toxic substances such as heavy metals or halogens are released. The same firefighting techniques used for wood-containing materials can be used.
