Trupan Plus MDF is manufactured using an advanced refining process which ensures a consistent panel throughout its surface. Ideal for deep detailed profiling and intricate machining, Trupan Plus offers high-performance durability. With its uniform density and stable core, Trupan Plus MDF has a smooth surface resilient enough for detailed and clean machine work. Trupan Plus MDF is available raw or TFL finished with your choice of design from ARAUCO’s leading PRISM TFL Collection.

Trupan Plus MDF is manufactured throughout North America, offering ease of supply with consistent quality throughout each plant. ARAUCO mills are FSC® Chain of Custody Certified ensuring the use of wood from ethical surfaces.

Precautions for Safe Handling:

Handle in accordance with good industrial hygiene and safety procedures. Obtain special instructions before use. Do not handle until all safety precautions have been read and understood.

TRUPAN MDF products should never be stored or used outdoors. The indoor storage area should be clean, dry, well ventilated, and free of dust, dirt or particles that could contaminate the MDF. Store flat on stickers on a level, hard, dry surface. Constant relative humidity and temperature should be maintained. Before use, allow to stabilize to the same conditions as are expected after the panel is installed. Condition 48 to 72 hours prior to lamination

Fire Resistance:

Untreated MDF has been tested for flame spread and the results met the Class III or C rating, CAN/ULC-S102.

Sustainability:

  • Made using 100% recycled and recovered wood content.

This is a wood product composed of wood and cured amino resins. Wood Dust: hazard information applies when the product is altered downstream by cutting, sawing, sanding, heating or other means and significant dust or fume is generated. In its shipped and finished form, this product is not considered hazardous. May form combustible dust concentrations in air if converted to small particles during further processing, handling, or by other means. Formaldehyde: This product contains less than 0.1% free formaldehyde. Residual formaldehyde gas may be released from this product. The amount and level will depend on local conditions of use. Formaldehyde gas is irritating to the eyes and upper respiratory tract and may aggravate existing respiratory conditions or allergies. Formaldehyde may cause cancer.
