Medex® MDF panels with superior strength and moisture resistance made with no-added formaldehyde (NAF). Highly moisture resistant Medex® MDF panels have a fine surface that takes paint, vinyl and other high-tech decorative surfaces exceptionally well and when properly sealed, offers a versatile substrate for all your needs.
A highly versatile MDF, Medex® utilizes a synthetic resin system and pre-consumer recycled wood fiber. It is engineered for interior high-moisture areas in non-structural applications and is used in place of sanded plywood or solid wood. With the versatility of a superior composite wood panel and the enhancement of indoor air quality, Medex® has been specified in hundreds of commercial, residential and institutional projects.

Specifications
Roseburg Forest Products are produced primarily from resources on Roseburg’s 625,000 acres of sustainably managed timberlands in Oregon and California. Made from recycled content, all of Roseburg’s MDF products are designed to meet both conventional and green building needs.
Roseburg Medex® MDF is tested and certified to meet or exceed the following standards and certifications:
- ANSI A208.2: American National Standard—MDF for Interior Applications
- Meets or exceeds ANSI A208.2 Grade 155
- Meets grade MR50 moisture resistance
- Exceeds requirements of ASTM D1037 six cycle accelerated aging test
- Formaldehyde Emissions Regulations:
- EPA Formaldehyde Emission Regulation, TSCA Title VI
- No Added Formaldehyde (NAF) Exempt
Fire Resistance:
- Flame Spread Rating Class C (3), CAN/ULC-S102
- Mechanical Properties are tested in accordance with ASTM D1037
Roseburg Forest Products recommends that all applications be reviewed by a licensed architect, engineer, and/or local building official before installation.
