Additional Hazards When Processed: Accumulation and dispersion of dust with an ignition source can cause a combustible dust explosion. Keep dust levels to a minimum and follow applicable regulations. Precautions for Safe Handling: Avoid creating or spreading dust. Keep away from heat, sparks, open flames, and hot surfaces. No smoking. For particulates and dust: Obtain special instructions before use. Do not handle until all safety precautions have been read and understood. Avoid contact with skin, eyes and clothing. Fire Behavior:

Untreated particleboard and MDF have been tested for flame spread by a number of different manufacturers and the results met the Class Ill or C rating, CAN/ULC-S102.

ARAUCO Particleboard and MDF treated with fire-rated (FR) additives are certified by Underwriters Laboratories to have a Class A or Class I fame spread rating.

Environmental Information:

FSC® Certified Available Upon Request. EPA recognized and CARB approved Third Party Certifier TPC-1. EPA TSCA Title VI certified. Complies with CARB ATCM 93120, ANSI 208.2 - 2016, CAN/CSA - 0160 - 16 for formaldehyde emissions. All panels are approved for interior, non-structural application. Contains Recycled/Recovered wood content.

FIBREX HDF products should never be stored or used outdoors. The indoor storage area should be clean, dry, well ventilated, and free of dust, dirt or particles that could contaminate the MDF. Store flat on stickers on a level, hard, dry surface. Constant relative humidity and temperature should be maintained. Before use, allow to stabilize to the same conditions as are expected after the panel is installed. Condition 48 to 72 hours prior to lamination.
