Fabrication
Fibrabel® is a lightweight fire-retardant MDF with a smooth and hard surface. While lightweight, this MDF board has a remarkably dense board surface. MDF panels are created using recovered fine wood particles reduced to fibers through steam, then combined with a resin and bonded together under heat and pressure. The texture is smooth and close-grained, creating a smoother surface than Particle Board cores. This uniform texture creates homogenous panels that are ideal for paint, veneers, or decorative laminates.
