MDF Excel+® MAX is the latest addition to Uniboard®’s extensive MDF product offering. Excel+® MAX is the result of premium wood fiber, exceptional wood refining, and optimal physical properties, making Excel+ MAX perfect where enhanced machinability is required. Excel+® MAX allows for the creation of complex machined parts such as cabinetry components, doors, moldings and millwork. Excel+ MAX is the perfect panel of choice for both 3D decorative components and paint applications. Excel+® MAX MDF has been designed to reduce post sanding of machined parts which will increase shop efficiency and productivity.

MR 10 Moisture Resistance
Uniboard MDF Excel+® complies with MR10 24-hour submersion testing for moisture resistance and exceeds ANSI A208.2-2016 MR10 requirements for thickness swell.Moisture Resistant MDF are an ANSI MR10 rated product for use in interior locations with occasional moisture exposure.
According to the ANSI Standard, MR10 requires that swelling after a soak test not exceed 5.5%.
Uniboard® Excel medium density fiberboard (MDF) panel is manufactured from softwoods and hardwoods to create a renowned solid wood substitute that is well suited to a range of both residential and commercial applications. From the 9-foot continuous press to super refining as well as the latest in sanding and cutting technologies, Uniboard® Excel MDF is a high-performance solution well suited to a range of applications.
Uniboard® Excel MDF can be customized to be Moisture Resistant and Fire Resistant and is offered in an industry-leading wide selection of dimensions and thicknesses.

Fire Resistance:
All Uniboard® MDF products conform to the ASTM E84 Standard, Class III or C whereby the flame spread index is between 76 and 200 and the smoke development is a maximum of 450.
Sustainability:
- Uniboard® MDF meets the requirements of the US EPA TSCA Title VI.
- FSC® certified for its chain of custody by the Composite Panel Association.
- Made using 100% pre-consumer recycled and recovered wood fiber.
