Guide to Maintaining RAUVISIO brilliant™ Acrylic Panels:

The non-porous, homogeneous acrylic surface material is easy to clean and suitable for contact with foodstuffs and is resistant to fungal and bacterial growth. RAUVISIO brilliant™ is resistant to most substances found in the household. Prolonged exposure to aggressive substances can leave behind marks or damage the material. RAUVISIO brilliant™ is pleasant to the touch, warm and has an excellent visual depth effect.

Clean with a damp microfiber cloth and with a mild soap if needed. Do not dry-wipe the acrylic finish. Avoid abrasive cleaners, solvent-based cleaners and harsh chemicals. Do not use paper towels, brushes or scouring pads.

RAUVISIO brilliant™ offers the highest quality in high gloss. Brilliant features double-sided, high gloss acrylic surfaces laminated onto super-refined Medium Density Fiberboard (MDF) to ensure a mirror-like reflective quality. The seamless joining of boards and edges results in a flawless, high-gloss component with no hard coat finish. brilliant™ replicates a pristine paint element in designed surfaces.

RAUVISIO brilliant™ is a multi-layer coextruded polymer laminate produced from a styrene copolymer base layer and an acrylate top layer. RAUVISIO brilliant™ achieves a high-tension force that has a positive effect on the surface smoothness and, in combination with a wooden substrate board, creates a mirror gloss surface.

RAUVISIO brilliant™ is flat-laminated to a high-quality, super-refined, engineered MDF core that is CARB2, TSCA Title VI certified which provides a stable, consistent substrate and virtually eliminates warping.

Fire behavior

Due to the composition of the main constituents acrylic and styrene copolymer, RAUVISIO brilliant™ demonstrates favorable fire behavior and is categorized to DIN 4102-B2 as normal flame resistance. In the event of a fire, no toxic substances such as heavy metals or halogens are released. The same fire-fighting techniques can be used as for construction materials containing wood.
